Prof. Mieczysław Chorąży Scholarship
funded by the Association for the Support of Cancer Research
The scholarship was established to honour and commemorate Professor Mieczysław Chorąży - a remarkable individual and an outstanding Polish researcher who spent seven decades investigating cancer at the Oncology Institute in Gliwice, developing its research division and educating generations of scientists.
The scholarship's goal is to recognise outstanding young scientists working at Polish research institutions and to encourage them to continue their research careers. It is funded by the Association for the Support of Cancer Research and individual donors, who may contribute to the scholarship fund via the Association's bank account.
Application deadline - 2026 edition
The current deadline for scholarship application is October 6th 2026.
