We cordially invite you to participate in the 26th Gliwice Scientific Meetings, which will be held on 18-19 Nov 2022.
The Gliwice Scientific Meetings are organized jointly by the Maria Skłodowska Curie National Research Institute of Oncology and the Silesian University of Technology, the two major scientific centers located in Gliwice. The conference is focused on different aspects of cancer research, molecular and cellular biology, medicine, biotechnology, and bioinformatics Since its start in 1997 the Gliwice Scientific Meetings has established a solid scientific reputation and became a recognizable event not only for Polish researchers The story is to be continued, and this year we invite you to the 26th edition of the Meetings.

The Conference venue is the Education and Congress Center of the Silesian Technical University, Gliwice. English will be the official language of the Conference. Registration ends on November 13th, 2022.
This year we also plan to commemorate the figure of Professor Mieczysław Chorąży with an annual scholarship for outstanding young scientists awarded by the Association for the Support of Cancer Research. The call for applications for the scholarship competition lasts until 7th October 2022 (updated). Applications should be send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The competition results will be announced during a special session at GSN2022 (Scholarship Regulations).
All of the accepted poster abstracts can be take part in a competition:
- For those who want to take part in the competition it is obligatory to send a pdf version of the poster, together with the abstract to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (deadline for sending abstract and pdf file is Nov. 6th 2022)
- First round of posters selection: From pdf posters received by the deadline, the Scientific Committee will choose those which qualify for presentation in a printed version during GSM 2022.
- Second round of posters selection: From among printed posters presented during GSM 2022, the Scientific Committee will select the Best Poster which will be awarded by the Association for the Support of Cancer Research.
- All posters in a pdf format will be accessible to registered participants trough the conference website.
